I remember that I want to tell you something. I cannot remember what it is. Today is off to a promising start.

The tension between art and commerce is hardly new, much like architecture and mortality, form versus function.

Remember that time I went to the Battle Bar in Chalmette last summer? Man, that night was a gas. It went on and on. I took Leather Tuscadero, my erstwhile, on again-off again sidekick. Robin is off having her own adventures, while Batman broods in his cave when not out on patrol.

Leather Tuscadero is the Girl Wonder Sensation of the 2020s.

It is true. The Extreme Dwarfanators will be at the Battle field bar. They are wresting a lineup of locals called the Extreme Dwarfagators. All of this adds to the general excitement Orleanians feel when they are making a visit to Chalmette.

Last year they came in April. The midget wresting circuit has them arriving early this year. Supply and demand. Anyone who witnessed last April’s bout are chomping at the bit for more.

I think tonight’s match is tonight. Leather sent me a message via carrier pigeon that it is tonight. It must be true.

Leather has to work tonight. I’m not going to Chalmette without Leather. The only people I visit Chalmette with is Leather and Mrs. King.

Happiness loves company. Midget wrestling is best enjoyed with pleasant company. It is not worth traveling a half hour to watch the Dwaranators vs. the Dwarfagators.

Wrestling is more than an athletic competition. It is art form that speaks to the audience that has the good taste to appreciate it.

It is too cold for me to drive the Vespa to Chalemette tonight. A well-lived life is about making the right choices. I am going to Dave & Buster’s instead. That is where Leather is working tonight.
