Bunny Bread.

Is it that time of year again? It seems like I only wrote about the Bunny Bread factory this summer. I spend a lot of time thinking about Bunny Bread. You wouldn’t know it from talking to people who live in New Orleans, but Bunny Bread is originally from Illinois.

Since there is a big bakery out in New Orleans East, and Bunny Bread is the bait of choice to catch fish in Bayou St. John, Bunny Bread is woven into the city’s fabric like Leidenheimer po’ boy bread.

There’s a store at the Bunny Bread Bakery, full of off-name brand snack foods you’ve never heard of. Unfortunately, I wasn’t hungry.

I was, however, shirtless. I found myself in the right place.
