Chattanooga.
I have spent the day in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is nothing like New Orleans, Louisiana except there is a street that you can walk around outside with a drink in your hand. It is home to several nightclubs. It is one block long. This street, I forget its name, does not define Chattanooga. I never heard of it until somebody told me about it.
I have lived in New Orleans for twelve years. Some people say I have gone native. I prefer to think I have become more myself. That comes with age, not geography. It is a combination of nature and nurture.
I have been in Chattanooga for a day an a half. This is hardly a foundation for comparison between these two cities.
I know New Orleans like the back of my hand. I know Chattanooga like a guy who has been here for a day and a half.
Let us compare these two places, shall we?
