I was talking to Cha-Cha the other day. She is pneumatic. She has lips as pillowy as botox collagen sofa cushions. Everybody likes her, your humble narrator included. She started showing up the same day I did. We sit next to each other all the time. We rarely talk with our mouths. We let our eyes do the talking.

So, Cha-Cha was telling me about how business is down at Café du Monde. We were talking about the Café du Monde in the French Quarter, the flagship, not the one in City Park or at the Lakeside Mall, or wherever else they may be. Business in the French Quarter is down. Everybody says it. Everyone feels it.
