Glass Eyes.

The old Creole women who sit on their front porches say that there used to be a lot more glass eyes around the city.  There used to be more eyepatches, too, so many, that even Rubenstiens’ carried a line of eyepatches.  They still do.  The Rubenstiens are New Orleans leading haberdashers.

Rubenstiens' has never carried glass eyes.  They never had a staff…
