Lake Pontchartrain
I rode the length of the scenic Florida Avenue Canal yesterday. It starts at Broad Street and ends in the farthest reaches of Bayou Bienvenue. I know you’ve never been to Bayou Bienvenue. I know you’ve never even heard of it.
There are a lot of things you don’t know about New Orleans. There is an educational park that nobody ever visits at the canals, start. A mural that no one can see, and hence no one reads, faces Broad Street.
It loosely illustrates the city’s drainage system.
I know. I’ve been through some of those big canals. It’s dark underground.
I’m working on something for the paid subscribers later today. It’s taking actual effort.
Happy Mardi Gras!

That is very interesting!
