Languid New Orleans Time (Part II)

Janice and her family are out on the sidewalk in front of their pink double.  She shares it with her son.  The extended family and friends are sitting on folding chairs around a cooler.  There is a grill off to the side where the son is smoking sausage.  It smells so good.

They are just a few houses down.  The sound of their comfortable palaver burbles in the background until it erupts with laughter.
