Mr. Mao, New Orleans.
Mrs. King and I went to Mr. Mao last night. It is on Tchoupitoulas Street, which, surprisingly, is pronounced pretty much as it is spelled. Let me set the scene of what I am up to at the moment and then I will give you our review of Mr. Mao in New Orleans.
Somebody is filming something upstairs at Katie’s today. I have no idea what it is but from where I sit, I can see these big resealable Rubbermaid bins full of snacks.
Tom Petty is not on the radio today at Katie’s. A regular, who shall remain nameless, requested the Thievery Corporation Station. Management indulged. It would actually be nice in here today but the music is too soft. At least Tom Petty drowns out the rusty fan in the A/C unit directly behind me.
Nothing in life is perfect which brings us to Mr. Mao.
