Nice Parts of Birmingham.

Except for the Debbie Downers I was running with at the beginning of my visit to Birmingham, I have talked with very few people who dislike living here. It was the luck of the draw on my part. When you lie down with dogs you get fleas.

After my first day, finding someone with something negative to say about the Magic City is like finding a baby that caught Covid. Both are few and far between.

I have decided that, true to form, I am not going to stray far outside Birmingham city limits. If something is not in Birmingham, which is quite extensive, then I do not need to see it. I cannot see it all. The clock is ticking.

New Orleans is calling. In the meantime, Birmingham is in the here and now.

There are some very nice parts of Birmingham, Alabama. There is more than one statue to personify Birmingham.

Let me tell you about it behind the paywall. We recently picked up a few more fellow-travelers, both paid and free. I have to make sure the paid people don’t feel like they’re getting ripped off.
