Quest for the Perfect Pizza.

Every day presents a parade.

I do not know about where you live but New Orleans is full of characters, at least the parts of New Orleans that I frequent. I rarely visit Lakeview.

So far, I have sat next to a Big Freedia lookalike, some kind of schlub salesman, and, now, a certifiable rap diva who’s cheekbones are sculpted out of powder. I do not think her fingernails are real.

I do not think the diva’s eyelashes are real.

The diva is spending a lot of time on Instagram. I am sitting so close next to her that I can smell her while I am reading the print edition of the Wall Street Journal. Worlds are not colliding but they are bumping up against each other.

Welcome to my world. I am on an ongoing quest for the perfect pizza and I think I am one step closer to getting there. It is going to take some finagling, but, I can already see the recipe getting better. Today is another beautiful New Orleans day.

I am on a quest to feast on the most delicious flavor-bomb of a pizza any person can imagine. I am one step closer to reaching my goal.
