The Blue Plate Building has aged well in its zip code, 70125. You should see the view from the roof. It's a straight shot between the E on the roof and 400 Poydras Street. If you don't think about Lee Harvey Oswald, the rooftop garden is a great place to kick back and relax after a long day at your day job. Tenants of the Blue Plate Artist Lofts park in the gated lot behind the Blue Plate Building. It is conveniently located across Earhart from C&A Seafood.

There are 72 Blue Plate artist lofts, so, mathematically speaking, at least 72 artists live there. You know how artists can be. The apartment manager says she has a dream job with all the perks. She says everyone is quiet and respectful. They get along. "It's a real community," she says.
