I am admiring the oak limbs that, from where I sit, look to be interwoven and interlocking. It is a trick of perspective. I can barely make out the Peristyle, from where I am sitting. It is about a hundred yards away. The field is thick with oak trees, all ages, from newborns to a few that are 500 years old.
