The first dead squirrel found at the foot of the Marry Me Oak was nothing to talk about. It was just another dead squirrel hardly worth noticing. Dead squirrels appear without explanation all over New Orleans. Then, they disappear just as mysteriously, though most probably due to rats or cats.
