Two Sexy Cities.

I am back in New Orleans. I left Birmingham at 4:00AM to beat traffic. It is a good thing that I did. My trip home went off without a hitch. Mrs. King was overjoyed to see me. She could hardly contain herself. Have you ever been smothered with kisses? My homecoming could have been a scene in a Hallmark movie.

Everyone says I look different. Consuela said, “Did you go to the beach, Mr. King?”

Like Nixon running against Humphrey and Wallace in 1968, I appear tanned, rested, and ready. In my case it is more wind burn than suntan since I have just spent nine hours on the open road. I am rested and ready, however. Birmingham has done me good.
