I do not know of any X-rated movie theaters in New Orleans. Now that I think of it, I am surprised. There was a wax museum in the French Quarter until very recently. The wax museum has been relocated to Houmas House and Gardens, upriver in some nondescript town that contains nothing but chemical plants and Houmas House and Gardens.
You should go to Houmas House and Gardens. If you want to go to an X-rated movie theater in the New Orleans metropolitan area, I do not know where to send you. If I am unaware of any, there not be any. This is something that would be on my radar, at least to know it exists.
I have been to Houmas House and Gardens twice. The gardens are beautiful. If there were an X-rated movie theater in New Orleans, I doubt I would go. I find the plots in those kind of movies repetitive.
X-rated movie theaters in New Orleans are as outdated as houses of assignation.
Houses of assignation were houses that rented out rooms by the hour. If you read old newspaper accounts, or even the New Orleans Blue Book, they were in every neighborhood. They were very popular in New Orleans back in the day.
Now, I guess people just go to the Motel 6 in Metairie, which only costs $60.00 a night so nobody has a clock to watch. The only requirement is that couples vacate the premises by noon the next day.
Time flies when you are having fun.
Now, instead of writing about something that is going to get me a lot of internet traffic, I am going to write about something else behind the paywall. You know how it is with journalists nowadays, we are all trawling for clicks.
